Presentation Format
MNP hosts four breakfast sessions from September to June; breakfasts are held on Thursday mornings at the Metropolitan Hotel, 645 Howe Street, Vancouver.
Agenda
7:30 - 8 a.m. Stand-up continental breakfast and networking
8 - 8:15 a.m. Introductions
8:15 - 9:45 a.m. Feature presentation
9:45 - 10 a.m. Wrap-up
We encourage discussion between the presenter and attendees throughout the presentation; therefore, presenters prepare presentation material that covers 45 minutes and the interactive discussion may extend the presentation to 90 minutes.
Participants are seated around a horseshoe shaped table for a more intimate and inclusive seating.
Presentation Style
We do not expect any of our presenters to have all the answers to their subject, but rather, to approach the presentation in a more interactive, conversational style.
Presentation Framework
All presenters are provided with a suggested structural outline to facilitate ease of preparation and encourage consistency in delivery.
Presentations are structured so that they cover the following themes:
- Identify an issue/opportunity.
- Examine possible approaches.
- Look at learning outcomes.
- Review any remaining issues.
- Seek interaction and ideas from the participants.
